The House

The living and dining rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with traditional Mexican crafts. The dining room features a large table with eight chairs and carved wood Mexican furnishings and opens out onto a lovely, spacious stone terrace that wraps around two sides of the house.  The terrace provides a lovely sitting area equipped with classic Mexican equipale furniture, as well as two handcrafted tile dining tables providing seating for 6. The many semi-private sitting areas and bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms make the house ideal for rental either in its entirety for families and other groups or hotel-style individual rooms.

A main floor bedroom with two twin beds that can be joined to make a king, has its own sitting area and bathroom making it ideal for anyone who has trouble climbing stairs. The second floor has four bedrooms, two with private bathrooms and two that share a bathroom, which could be used as a suite.  All these rooms open onto a lovely sitting area offering a fabulous view of the city through floor to ceiling glass patio doors that also open onto a second floor balcony.

The master suite features a panoramic view through large windows, a queen bed, and a luxury bathroom with double sinks and a tub that comfortably fits two. One of the additional bedrooms is decorated with a Mexican cactus theme, has two twin beds and a private mountain-view terrace.  Another offers a queen bed and shared bath with the office or fifth bedroom.  Water is heated by solar panels; cisterns in the rear both allow for efficient water use and guard against water shortages.
